What You Can Do Today to Prevent Alzheimer's Disease
There is much new information about Alzheimer's Disease. Among the most interesting was developed by Dr. David Snowdon's study of a group of Catholic nuns. Aging with grace is a touching story that offers lessons on what we can do to protect our brains from Alzheimer's Disease.

Learned Optimism
Psychologist Martin Seligman has demonstrated that athletes who are optimistic overcome setbacks. Those who were pessimistic don't perform well after a setback. This is just one of a number of studies conducted by Seligman that shows that optimists succeed where pessimists fail. Optimistic students do better in college than their SAT scores would predict. Optimistic salesmen sell more. And in every election since 1948, the more optimistic of the presidential candidates from the major parties has been elected. Why is that? What implications does it have for us … and how can we learn to be more optimistic?
